Whether it be fun and quirky or traditional and wholesome; our menus range from canapés and formal dinners to themed bowl food and trendy conference menus, thus creating exciting food for private dinner parties and large scale events, alike.

Catering Manager

Responsibilities:
  • Supervising our culinary and catering teams to ensure we continue to deliver impeccable food and customer service.
  • Overseeing the efficiency of all in-unit catering operations, including managing inventories, monitoring budgets, and implementing action plans.
  • Communicating regularly with your director to monitor KPIs and targets.
  • Identifying opportunities for new food or service concepts to drive sales.
  • Liaising between customers and our culinary and service teams to ensure we continue to exceed expectations.
  • Supporting and training the teams, leading from the front to make sure everyone can excel in their role.
  • Implementing and reviewing Health & Safety standards to ensure compliance across all catering and service teams.
Skills / Experience / Qualifications:
  • Be passionate about great-tasting food and exceptional customer service.
  • Have a minimum of one year of catering experience.
  • Have experience managing teams in a similar role.
  • Knowing a Basic Food Hygiene certificate.
  • Demonstrate brilliant financial acumen.
  • Have excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Be an ambitious and motivated individual who is always looking to upskill.

Asian Speciality Chef

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and cook a range of Asian dishes as per the demand.
  • Have a full operational knowledge of all recipes, standards, portion sizes and Presentation style of various curries produced in the kitchen.
  • Able to demonstrate a thorough understanding of traditional Indian curries.
  • To aid the Head Chef to achieve the restaurants budgeted food costs.
  • To carry out month-end food stock taking.
  • To be responsible for the day-to-day ordering of food for a section in line with UK purchasing guidelines.
  • Ensure food prepared is of highest possible standards.
  • Controlling portion sizes in accordance with food specifications.
  • Plan and allocate jobs/tasks to subordinate staff, ensuring that all items produced are according to standard recipes, portion yields and within agreed time limits and minimum wastage.
  • Dealing with food complaints efficiently.
  • Ability to demonstrate strong organizational skills.
  • Check that all food safety regulations and procedures are fully complied with.
  • Report any defective equipment or safety hazards within the kitchen.
Skills / Experience / Qualifications:
  • Experience in Indian Curry, preferably milk Curry, Bengali Curry at the professional level.
  • At least two years’ experience as a professional cook in a quality restaurant or hotel.
  • Have experience managing teams in a similar role.
  • Knowing a Basic Food Hygiene certificate.
  • Be an ambitious and motivated individual who is always looking to upskill.
  • Experience to supervise staff, high quality, and hygiene standards.
